It has been one year since I started sending weekly emails to the group from our Adult Bible Fellowship, which later became this blog.
So today I decided to re-issue the very first short story I wrote:
This morning, as I was driving to work, it was very foggy. It was possible to see the road ahead of me for maybe 100 yards or so.
It was safe, since I still could see enough to know where to turn, or to see the traffic light, or incoming traffic, but I could not see far down the road.
At that moment I thought that our walk with the Lord it is somewhat like that. He typically shows us the next step, the next turn, but He rarely shows us the whole road. I believe we would feel we don’t need His guidance anymore if we knew the whole map.
So, the best is to keep our eyes on the road, so we don’t miss the next turn.
By the way, looking at the mirror won’t help much as well. A lot of your past has been covered.
Keep on moving.”
