Just another quick illustration from life:
Here at work we have these automatic doors that open when you approach them.
If you stand in the parking lot staring at the doors and waiting for them to open so you can go through, you will miss work.
You need to walk towards them, and they will open.
From our study on the book of Joshua we learned that the Jordan River only opened when the priests stepped on the water.
Are we missing blessings because we are waiting for the doors to be open, when we should be moving towards it?
Would we be better taking the risk of hitting our nose on the glass if God keeps the door closed, then just not moving?
